Vivienne Westwood 'Vive La Cocotte' Checked Top

Windowpane checked blouse in green, yellow, and blue. It has unique construction including articulated seams at the joints, based off of 16th garments that were worn under armor. Vivienne discusses this in her BBC documentary "Painted Ladies" which is available on youtube. The same blouse was seen in a different fabric in her Fall 1995 collection 'Vive la Cocotte'. In excellent condition.
