Vivienne Westwood Philosophy Top

Mid 2000s Vivienne Westwood Anglomania draped tunic top with original retail tags. The style is called the Philosophy Top. This style harkens back to Vivienne's work in the late 80s, specifically her collections 'Time Machine', 'Civilizade', 'Voyage to Cythera", and more. Vivienne was inspired by Greco-Roman dress, as well as the buried past of pre-christian Britain. She drew on her own interpretation of such ideas and images throughout her career. The top is new with tags, however there is a faint lipstick mark that we have not attempted to remove, likely from someone trying it on in the store.
