Vivienne Westwood 1993 'Always on Camera' Rolls Royce Denim Corset

Rare pictoral corset from Vivienne Westwood's A/W 1992/93 runway, 'Always on Camera'. This collection was Westwood's homage to Old Hollywood. The corset has an abstracted photographic image of a Rolls Royce woven into the textile across the front. The image of the car is askew as if its barreling into view. Its headlamps frame the iconic hood ornament, 'The Spirit of Ecstasy', which depicts the figure of a woman bending forward in motion as her fluid drapery becomes wings flying behind her. The corset is in excellent condition and seems barely used. The interior is in immaculate shape and all of the boning is completely intact and unbent. Made in England, 100% cotton. Marked UK size 12.
