Brown gingham suit from Vivienne Westwood's Spring-Summer 1989 presentation, 'Civilizade'. The blouse has buttons up the back, a cartoonish peter pan collar, and functioning pockets at the front. The cuffs of the sleeves as well as the back pleat of the skirt have beautiful foiled printing which almost transforms the fabric into a paper like quality. Beautifully constructed, in pristine condition, this is a collectible piece of Westwood's work as a solo artist.
