1890s Quilted Mutton Sleeve Bed Jacket

Quilted silk Victorian jacket with embroidered flowers and dramatic mutton sleeves, in a vibrant and unique purple hue. It is hand quilted, handmade, with frog closures and little hidden side-pocket for nighttime accoutrements. There are some scattered age-related flaws, but overall the jacket is in incredible condition for its age, the fabric is very strong and wearable. A gorgeous and rare museum piece!
