Printed silk skirt from France. The skirt is made of a beautiful collectible printed silk textile dating from 1910. It is a vivid purple color and has an hypnotic circle and dot pattern. It is made from one layer of lightweight silk, with a thick and sturdy canvas inner waistband giving it its Edwardian silhouette. It has delicate ruching on the waistband and hem of the skirt. There is some scattered discoloration and age related damage, but overall the textile is in strong condition. Truly a wearable piece of Belle Époque French fashion.
