Spring/Summer 1996 Vivienne Westwood Striped Quilted Dress

Rare dress from Vivienne Westwood's 1996 Spring/Summer collection. The dress was worn by Carla Bruni on the runway (see last image). The dress has voluminous parachute-like drawstring sleeves and buttons down the front. It has an optical striped print and a formfitting silhouette. Most uniquely, it has a quilted attached pocket/pouch on the side of the hip! Marked a UK size 10.
