Issey Miyake X Aya Takano A/W 2004 Runway Skirt
$2000
Issey Miyake collaborated with artist, Aya Takano, on his entire A/W 2004 collection. This mesh skirt was included on the runway. Now infamous, the designs created through their collaboration are fantastical and bold pieces of wearable art.
The skirt has two layers both printed with Takano's illustrations. The first layer is a stretch jersey and the layer beneath is a stretch mesh. The fabrics make for a very formfitting silhouette. The layering of the materials also creates a gorgeous multidimensional all-over print.
The skirt is in pristine seemingly unworn condition, perfect for any fashion collector's archive. Its stretchiness makes it fairly open size.
across waist un-stretched: 13.5"
hips: free
length at shortest point: 15"
length at longest point: 23"
