English Victorian Trousseau Nightdress

Light as air cotton voile chemise from 1860s. Pintucks on the font and back lead into soft pleats. Cutwork lace and dense whitework embroidery cover the front of the nightdress, with a baby pink silk ribbon bow detail. Delicate whitework flowers dot the sweet 3/4 sleeves, trimmed in lace. This detailed relic is in excellent condition for its age. There is a minute hole on the yoke but otherwise the fabric is strong and still wearable.
