Edwardian Ribbon and Wheat Corset Cover
$130
Beautiful Edwardian corset cover from France. This garment would be the last piece of lingerie put on -- over the corset. The cover has elaborate embroidered images of wheat flowers tied with ribbon. There is also ballet pink colored ribbon woven through the top. Corset covers were often extremely decorative even though they were worn under clothes because they were worn with the intent of being "slightly" visible through the semi-sheer dresses and blouses of the period. There's an original stamp on the bottom of the garment with a seemingly unique number and size. It buttons down the front and cinches with a tie in at the waist.
