Edwardian Inspired Hat by Matsuda

A wool hat with giant decorative bow in the front, beading, and soutache trim. The hat is inspired by Edwardian era hats that were huge in horizontal span and boasted oversized millinery accents. These Gibson Girl era fashions accentuate the wearer's face, while also providing visual privacy and a sense of mystique! The hat's brim also has wire within so is pose-able at will. The 1980s saw a revival and reinterpretation of early 20th century styles, seen here in this collectible Matsuda example.
