Edwardian Printed Flannel Butterfly Bed Jacket

Antique Edwardian era lavender bed jacket with hypnotic Art Nouveau butterfly print. The bed jacket is made of a soft brushed flannel cotton fabric which is extremely comfortable and luxe. It features a sailor style collar, typical of the period when womenswear began to heavily feature utilitarian references to military and uniform. The sleeves end with a gathered ruffle at the wrist. Other than a bit of slight fading in some areas, it is in very sturdy wearable condition. It's rare to find elaborate flannel garments such as this one intact, in such great condition and with minimal fading. Truly extraordinary!
