Antique undergarment circa early 1900s by Warner's, an American corset company. It's made of a beautiful cotton mesh and has built in dress shields under the arms. These were common at the time to protect the outer garment from soil and wear. It's rare to see antique brassieres from this period, they were a relatively new innovation and due to their utilitarian purpose usually have disintegrated and many do not survive. This a beautiful piece of historical lingerie! It closes with a row of steel hook & eyes down the front as well as delicate drawstrings for adjustability. It has beautiful interior with logo stamps from the era.

As you can see, there is a fragile area with tearing under one arm. The net is is delicate on that side. Some areas of the fabric are still strong, it is wearable with care.
