Antique skirt dating to the early 20th century in colors of the Basque region of France. It is made from panels of green, white, and red silk with an attached apron at the front made of fine and delicate French lace. The skirt closes at the waist and is more gathered at the back giving a lovely shape. The silk ribbons at the front have some shatter and deterioration but the rest of the skirt is in sturdy shape.
