Antique Victorian Handknit Darned Socks

These handmade, hand-dyed and all the rest, cotton socks are truly breathtaking. They have an irregular baby blue dye throughout and have the initials BP inside the knit. They were clearly well loved as they have dense heavy darning throughout the foot. Extremely wearable but also lovely to display. What a relic of handcraft!
