Antique Victorian Chemise with Inscription

Sultry Victorian chemise with beautiful eyelet yoke with tons of whitework embroidery. The off-the-shoulder cut dates it as 1850s-60s. The nightgown features a beautiful inscription with the name of its original owner in ink.
The cotton fabric is weak and tearing underneath arms (see photos), and there is a spot where the fabric shattering underneath the yoke where the inscription is. Other than these, the cotton is still strong and wearable. Please understand, this is an antique item that is being sold As IS.
