Antique Calico Sunbonnet with Button Detail

Antique Victorian calico sunbonnet in a rare style. The bonnet has a very unusual design -- the back is lined with buttons. The previous owner believed it to be a cover for another hat. There's also a bow at the top and the back of the bonnet. It has a tie closure around the neck. The bonnet is in sturdy wearable condition with a few minor stains. An unusual museum quality piece!
