A rare early Castelbajac piece with the K & Co Jean- Charles de Castelbajac label- this hand- painted dress with bold color-way and graphic cut! The painted pattern has a quasi-animalic feeling to it. Made from a soft woven cotton, the waist is adjustable with drawstring, so it can be a cinched or worn as a more drop-waisted style. In very good vintage condition, there is some sun fading on the skirt of the dress, not very noticeable when worn. Made in France, tag says "peint à main"
