1980s Vivienne Westwood Red Pumps

Beautiful and rare to find, a bright red leather pair of Vivienne Westwood pumps from the late 1980s. Westwood's father was a cobbler, which informed her provocative designs that were also extremely well made and comfortable to wear. She often references antique and mid century shoes transposed with fetish influence. This pair definitely falls under that category, the ankle straps wrap around and fasten under the foot in a very unique manner. They've been resoled, and they have some water staining on one shoe, but they are priced accordingly. Made in England, UK size 6 women's, or a US 8.5.
