1980s Kansai Yamamoto Fish Set

Chic 1980s skirt-suit by legendary designer Kansai Yamamoto. The set is made from a sturdy cotton fabric with a stunning and surreal all over print of schools of fish (sardines?) swimming through a blood red sea. It has a beautiful almost airbrushed looking ombré effect throughout suggesting the sea's currents.
The top has wide shoulders and a nipped in waist. The skirt has a zipper fly and elastic waist in back. The skirt has roomy pockets and a kick-pleat in front. The set is in great vintage condition apart from some faint staining on the print which you can only see if you are searching extremely hard! It has been dry cleaned.
