1978 Thierry Mugler Jumpsuit with Quilted Lamé Breastplate

$1300

Exquisite and rare, an early creation of legendary runway and couture genius Manfred Thierry Mugler. This jumpsuit is made from a viscose jersey fabric with fin-like flutter down the thigh, leading to a semi-peek-a-boo leg design closing elegantly with an anklet at the bottom. The triangular lamé breastplate is quilted in an almost greek key style, giving the garment a mythological flair. Perfect summer wedding or event attire, but also can easily be layered with a jacket for the fall. In very good vintage condition, with scattered minor flaws reflecting its age. See photos.
