1940s Sailor Swimsuit

Gorgeous swimsuit from the 1940s or 50s by Janet Dickinson. The swimsuit has a sailor theme and has a tie at the front. It has an adorable micro pleated shirt and attached shorts. Ruched back with some stretch. Made of cotton. Its initial use was a swimsuit, but it can definitely be worn as a romper. Janet Dickinson was a British fashion designer who gained popularity in the 40s and 50s for her innovative sportswear and swimwear designs. This piece is in impeccable condition. Best for a size small.
