Lovely 1940s dress from France during rationing and German occupation. Made from a dense and supple white linen fabric, the dress is beautifully home-sewn. It has a triangular collar and button front with geometric black bakelite buttons. The pocket on the front has a hand-embroidered monogram in primary colors. Excellent condition, strong and wearable.
