1930s French EMO Knit Bathing Suit

1930s French bathing suit by historic swimwear brand 'EMO'. Made from a fine, bouncy wool yarn in a perfect sunshine yellow hue. It features a beautiful, elaborate rayon embroidered label. Wool bathing suits were fashionable and popular before synthetics became preponderant in swimwear. Though seemingly exotic to modern sensibilities, wool looks & feels fabulous to wear at the beach, and it's and easy to care for.
