1930/40s French Raffia Platforms

These platform shoes are entirely handmade from raffia. This style of shoe emerged in the 1930s and continued to be worn through the 1940s. They are surprisingly comfortable and quite easy to walk in. This style of shoe inspired the iconic designs of Robert Clergerie. In fabulous condition. They are being modeled by a wide 7.5 US women's shoe, they could fit up to an 8.5. A rare and museum quality item.
