1890s Moiré Turquoise Sash

Late Victorian boned waist sash, made from vivid turquoise watered (moiré) silk, decorated with black silk and lace rosettes. It has a tail in the back and closes with hook & eyes. Seems like it was expertly stored and seems unused or used maybe once! Fabric is strong & wearable. A beautiful example of Belle Époque opulence in Fashion.
