Beautiful raw linen jacket from the 1880s, originally from a traveling ensemble. It has beautiful construction and darting typical of the period. It is missing its buttons and has age related staining and scattered holes throughout with some lovely patches and darning repairs. The textile is still strong and wearable in most places and makes for a lightweight summer jacket/cover.
