Victorian overskirt meant to be part of an entire dress ensemble called a "Walking Dress" which would be paired with a longer skirt and petticoat underneath. It features generous ruching to display the pouf of the bustle to fullest effect, it creates a billowy and beautiful silhouette when walking. It is a lovely natural colored cotton fabric with thick chocolate brown trim. The fabric is in sturdy and wearable condition. A lovely and wearable piece of Victorian Fashion history.
