1860s Lace Bang Bonnet with Lappets

Antique handmade lace headdress from Switzerland, likely from the 1860s. It is designed to be worn at the front of the head, and has two lappets which hang down over the ears, weighted down slightly with finely crocheted pink florals. The hat is made of filet lace, with green cording with pink accents, and trimmed in delicate ruffled net. The hat is intended for spring and summer dress. In pristine condition.
